It's becoming a reality! Beginning on Monday, February 26, a group of women from Fellowship Church want to gather at least once a month to enjoy friendships, support one another and become "Free Indeed!" - in Egelston Township.
Anyone is welcome to be a part of this group...moms with children of all ages in infancy through teens, moms whose children have flown from the nest and grandmas who desire to be a helpful presence for all in the group. Anyone that functions as a mom, grandma or primary support person/guardian for children please feel welcome to join us.
Be sure to mark your calendars for this year’s Wild Game Dinner!
Our speaker will be Greg VanderMeer, former pastor at Fellowship Church and an outdoor enthusiast. This dinner is a fundraiser for this year’s Oakridge & Community Ministries, and a free-will offering will be taken to support that work.
The tickets are free, but you will need a ticket to enter and these can be picked up in the lobby or church office. Please take only the number you need, and return any unneeded tickets to the church office.
Please bring the following food item based on the first initial of your last name:
A—K: bring a dish to pass
M—Z: bring a dessert
7:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m. // Activity Center
On May 19 we will be holding another inmate/family reconciliation
event at Brooks Correctional Facility in Muskegon and there
are several ways to serve:
make a financial donation, accompany the child to the prison to
visit their parent, prepare breakfast and lunch here at FRC, shuttle people
to/from the prison or you can volunteer at the church in a special program
for the children’s family members. Not all opportunities require a full-day commitment.
More details and applications will be available by April.
Attention all Women!
You’re invited to join Carol Kendrick and Kathy Townsend for “Real Women”,
a women’s group focusing on relationships, encouragement, accountability, and laughter. We’ll begin by using the book “The Emotionally Healthy Woman” by Geri Scazzero. Please call the church office (231-788-2321) for more info or just come and join us!
