On Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00, we offer a group for high school students to gather together in a welcoming environment. This group is called “i3”, and the “i3” stands for “God first, others second, and I am third”. This reflects our attitude of fulfilling God’s commandment to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength as well as loving and looking out for others as we would do for ourselves. Our students enjoy social time, recreational opportunities, and food. We devote time to hearing and applying God’s word to our lives in a way that’s relevant for us all. We also offer weekend retreats and a week-long summer mission experience focusing on serving others while growing in our relationship with God. A primary focus of this group is acceptance; High School can be a difficult time for a lot of young people as they deal with identity, relationships (especially with members of the opposite gender!), peer pressure, and more. This group is a welcoming place for every student, and we’d love to have you join our i3 family!
