Love, INC of Muskegon

Love In the Name of Christ exists to help churches mobilize their members to be the hands and feet of Christ in their communities.  Love INC provides a wide variety of services, including a food pantry, financial assistance, home repairs, clothing, budget counseling, and more.  Fellowship Church partners with Love INC to serve the needs of those in our community who just need a little help, and you can contact them at https://loveincofmuskegon.com/ for more information.

Muskegon Rescue Mission

The Muskegon Rescue Mission provides food, shelter, clothing and spiritual direction to those in need. The Mission works to address the root cause of their clients’ difficulties, and they offer the spiritual nourishment necessary to effect true and lasting change. Their ultimate goal is to bring people to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, helping them to experience dependence upon God and independence in society.  You can contact them at https://muskegonmission.org/ for more information.

European Church Planting Partnership

For many years the church in Eastern Europe was in a state of decline, but recently people have regained a hunger for the Word of God and for the church.  Fellowship Church partners with Doug & Dianne McClintic, who are originally from West Michigan and are now serving with the European Church Planting Partnership.  Doug & Dianne work primarily in Hungary but often serve in other countries throughout Europe, and they offer training and support for new church planters and existing churches.

West Michigan Teen Challenge

Teen Challenge is a program for those who are struggling with drug or alcohol addictions.  The goal of Teen Challenge is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.  Their program is a live-in program where clients learn how to have a relationship with God and break free from addiction in the power of Jesus Christ.  You can learn more about Teen Challenge at http://www.wm-tc.com

Anglican Church of Uganda

The country of Uganda is one of the poorest countries in Africa, and Fellowship Church partners with the Anglican Church of Uganda to assist pastors & churches in their relief efforts.  We help sponsor a dental clinic where services are provided free of charge, and we sponsor a micro-finance program which provides financial assistance to families who want to start their own small business.  In addition to financial assistance, several members of our church family have traveled to Uganda to help with the church’s work.

Words of Hope

Words of Hope is an international ministry that communicates the Gospel through radio and other means to people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to hear the message of Jesus. Since 1945, Words of Hope has been taking the Gospel into some of the hardest-to-reach areas of the world, and currently they broadcast in over 30 languages to places like the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and Europe. Words of Hope is also involved in follow-up work with those who hear their broadcasts so that they can be connected to a local church.

Ministry in Nicaragua

Nicole Opgenorth lives in Nicaragua, and she works among the people living in remote rural communities.   Many of the families there live in extreme poverty, and Nicole serves with a local ministry focused on sustainable community development to help those vulnerable families lift themselves out of poverty. Nicole also works with local pastors to strengthen their churches so that people hear the message of God’s love through Jesus Christ.
