who we are
our vision
our vision
Recently, our leaders decided to get serious about defining our vision. We wanted to make sure that we had a solid understanding of where we are headed as a church, and we wanted to be very clear about what mattered most to us. The following is our Vision Statement, which we drafted as a means of saying
“This is what we’re working toward as a church”:
The people of Fellowship Church are committed to transforming the lives of children and families in our community. We want to see homes where children feel safe and loved, and where their physical and emotional needs are met. We envision schools where children and teachers are encouraged and supported. We imagine an entire community coming together and investing in children and families, producing a measurable impact in our community for generations to come.
We will realize this vision by first investing in the spiritual formation of our Fellowship family. By teaching people to live as though Jesus were living through them, we will sacrificially serve our neighbors in practical and loving ways that create healthier families and ultimately transform our community. We believe this is why God planted Fellowship Church a century ago.
